SEC Annual Report 2020

Sustainable Living

On behalf of the Board and the SEC secretariat, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your continued support throughout a challenging 2020. SEC is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and we could only have come this far in partnership with you. We will have our planned celebrations with all of you when the COVID situation improves.

Despite the trying times, we have further galvanised community action by reaching 1.6 million people, 1,193 organisations and 260 schools in 2020 to start them on their journey to becoming champions of environmental care and collective action.

SEC Annual Report 2019

Heart Reset, Green Pivot

2020 is a challenging year marked by the prolonged pandemic and global financial meltdown. At SEC, we had to postpone mass events and focus on using digital platforms to engage and introduce new exciting programmes. We have never been shy to explore all other relevant channels to continue our outreach efforts in this green journey. We would like to thank all our donors, sponsors, partners and volunteers for your continued support – which enabled SEC to be a key voice in championing climate action.

We stand on the threshold of a post COVID-19 era, and with much uncertainties looming ahead for year 2021. It is timely for businesses to take stock, rethink and reset how they want to transform themselves to be relevant and ready for the green future. More than ever, it is time for Heart Reset, Green Pivot
