Make A Difference

Items such as PET bottles are 100% recyclable but are we actually recycling them? Over 467 million PET bottles are still being used in Singapore each year – that’s the size of 94 Olympic-sized swimming pools!

With the support of Equinix, SEC launched this RVM (Reverse Vending Machine) project to provide students with an easy way to recycle their used plastic drink bottles and aluminium cans. The 2 RVMs will be situated in Republic Polytechnic (RP) and Temasek Polytechnic (TP) and students are encouraged to make a difference not only to the environment but also to help needy students as well!
