Training and Education

The only way to an environmental sustainable future is when all of us truly believe in making a difference, and take action against global warming and climate change. The Singapore Environment Council Training & Education (T&E) team seeks to inspire, equip and engage individuals from all walks of life, students and corporates to be more environmentally conscious through themed talks, experiential environment trails, and workshops. We collaborate with like-minded partners including educational institutions as advocates and catalyst to champion change.

In line with SEC’s mission to foster lasting societal and environmental values for environmental sustainability, T&E activities are conceptualized with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) in mind. Consistent with SDG 4 Quality Education which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, our experiential outdoor trails and environmental education courses seek to raise awareness on the importance of sustainability and equip stakeholders (corporates, professional communities and students) with the relevant skills and knowledge to implement sustainable change at home and in the workplace.
